Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 9, 2026

Groundwork CX LLC ("Groundwork CX," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website groundworkcx.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Who We Are

Groundwork CX LLC is a Virginia limited liability company.

Registered address: 8401 Mayland Dr Ste A, Richmond, VA 23294, USA.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you submit our contact form, we collect your full name, company email address, role, and the reason for your inquiry. If you sign up to be notified about the release of our book, we collect your email address. If you book a call using our Calendly scheduling tool, Calendly collects the information you provide to schedule the meeting, such as your name, email address, and any details you add, and may set its own cookies to support the scheduling session. Calendly's use of this information is governed by Calendly's privacy policy.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, certain technical information is collected through the analytics tools described below.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics, delivered through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the Site. This service uses cookies and collects information such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the Site. Google may combine this data with information from other sites and services it operates. Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics only load on your device after you opt into the Analytics cookie category described below — they are not present at all until you make that choice. You can learn more about Google's data practices at policies.google.com/privacy, and you can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

We do not currently use advertising pixels, retargeting tools, or live chat software on the Site.

Cookies

When you first visit the Site, a cookie banner asks you to choose which categories of cookies you're comfortable with. We group cookies into three categories:

  • Strictly necessary. Required for the Site to function. These are always on and cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics. Cookies used by tools such as Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use the Site. Only set if you opt in.
  • Functionality. Cookies used by the Calendly booking widget so you can schedule a call directly from the Site. Only set if you opt in.

You can change your choices at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" button in the footer of any page.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form
  • Send updates about the book, if you have opted in
  • Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it
  • Maintain business records

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Who We Share Information With

We share information with the following service providers, who process it on our behalf:

  • Netlify, Inc., which hosts the Site and delivers contact form submissions to us by email
  • Google LLC, which provides Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
  • Calendly LLC, which provides the call-scheduling tool used to book time with us
  • GitHub Inc., which hosts the Site's underlying code (GitHub does not receive visitor data through normal use of the Site)

Contact form submissions are currently reviewed and managed manually. We do not yet use a customer relationship management (CRM) or email marketing platform. If we adopt one in the future, this policy will be updated to name it. [Placeholder: update this section once third-party tools are finalized.]

Data Retention

We retain contact form submissions and related inquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain accurate business records, and in any case no longer than three years from your last contact with us, unless a longer retention period is required by law. [Placeholder: confirm this timeframe matches your intended practice.]

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable privacy law regarding the personal information we hold about you. These commonly include the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you
  • Request a copy of that information
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information (we do not sell or share personal information, so this does not apply to our current practices)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with its own data protection framework, you may have additional rights under that law, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

International Visitors

The Site is operated from the United States, and information we collect is processed and stored in the United States. If you are visiting from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for a professional business audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
